Our dedicated team of experienced Social Workers, based in the South West of England, is committed to providing exceptional services to lawyers and families across the South West. We specialize in professional and independent Social Work reports, with a particular focus on Court of Protection expert witness reports, COP3 reports, mental capacity and deprivation of liberty assessments, best interests assessments, care assessments and reviews, and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Tribunal social care reports.

We understand that parents and carers sometimes find local authority decisions regarding Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) insufficient. That's where we come in. We providing expert social care evidence to the First-Tier Tribunal (SEND) with out comprehensive care and support needs reports for both adults and children.

Our expertise extends to mental capacity assessments across the South-West region. Our team is skilled in making mental capacity determinations for a variety of decisions, including property and financial affairs, health and welfare, social media and internet use, sexual relationships and marriage, making financial gifts, use of CCTV, litigation, education for appeals, testamentary capacity, advanced decisions to refuse treatment (ADRT), and capacity to act as an executor.

At Simply Social Work, our mission is to support individuals at various life stages. We assist young people and their families or carers in accessing Child Trust Funds when a capacity assessment is required for financial affairs. We recognize the impact this has had on many young people across England and Wales and are here to help with COP3 reports for deputyship applications.
