Julie Fox

After leaving secondary school, Julie attended Secretarial College for 3 years, passing many RSAIII typewriting, word processing and shorthand exams with distinction. For 11 years, Julie was a Personal Assistant to the Accommodation Manager within a foreign Language School, dealing with all aspects of admin within the department, working and liaising closely with host families and visiting students/leaders.

In 2010, Julie qualified as an NVQ Level 3 Nursery Practitioner. She completed her training whilst working within a Nursery setting where she continued working for 12 years. During this time Julie worked very closely with children aged 3 months to 11 years old helping to nurture and develop their learning skills. She also had a very good relationship with the families of the SEN children she supported throughout her time at the Nursery, ensuring, wherever possible, the needs of the child and the family were met.

Julie is the Business Support Officer here at Simply Social Work and, should you have a query, will be the first point of contact. Since joining Simply Social Work, Julie has undertaken extensive training and is our Benefits Advisor.

In her spare time, Julie loves spending time with her family in Bournemouth and Devon and has a love for the outdoors, nature and wildlife. During the summer months she can be found driving one of her Dad’s vintage tractors around at the steam rallies.
